Another original member of the Ghostbusters will join the highly anticipated reboot.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Ernie Hudson, who starred as Winston Zeddermore in the '80s film, has been cast in Sony's GHOSTBUSTERS reboot. They have not clarified which character Hudson will be playing yet, but you can bet BroadwayWorld will bring you the news right when it's released!

Production on the highly anticipated GHOSTBUSTERS reboot wrapped in August. The film features an all-female cast of Hollywood's funniest ladies, including the Ghost-busting squad of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. In addition, Chris Hemsworth will take on the role of office secretary, played by Annie Potts in the original film.

BroadwayWorld previously reported that Bill Murray will take on an all new character, described as "an actual debunker of Ghostbusters. His new character is not a believer in the power of ghostbusting and needs some convincing. The question is, Will he meet his doom by not backing the ladies in their endeavor?" Original cast member Dan Akroyd will also appear in the film.

Fans will have to wait until 2016, when the Paul Feig-directed comedy hits theaters.
