Breaking Glass Pictures is releasing Nathan Silver's award-winning Uncertain Terms in New York City (Cinema Village) on May 29 and Los Angeles (Lammle Music Hall) on June 5, 2015. Written by Nathan Silver, Chloe Domont and Cody Stokes, Uncertain Terms follows a 30-year-old man escaping his crumbling marriage by retreating to his aunt's countryside home for pregnant teens.
Uncertain Terms is the story of a 30-year-old man who needs an escape from his troubled marriage in Brooklyn. He leaves for the countryside to stay with his Aunt Carla at her bucolic home for pregnant teenagers. Tensions run high when Robbie develops a friendship with Nina, who is mature beyond her age and dealing with her own relationship troubles. Robbie soon finds himself caught in a love triangle between Nina and her delinquent boyfriend. Uncertain Terms played as part of IFP & Filmmaker Magazine's 'Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You' Series at New York's Museum of Modern Art in November. A favorite among critics around the world, Uncertain Terms also made IndieWire's Best Undistributed Films of 2014 list. Premiering at the 2014 LA Film Festival, the film has GONE onto a robust festival run around the world including Edinburgh, Munich, Deauville, Viennale, Stockholm, Sao Paulo, Mill Valley and Denver.
