"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) was #1 with A24-54 viewers on August 23 for the second week in a row, marking its first back-to-back win in the demo since the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. The NBC broadcast has now topped "Face the Nation" in the demo for 11 straight weeks and beat "This Week" in total viewers for five straight weeks.

Sunday's "Meet the Press" ratings are based on a 42-minute average, compared to just 35 minutes for ABC and 30 minutes for CBS.

Versus the same Sunday last year, MTP posted double-digit gains across-the-board in total viewers (+32% or +779,000), A25-54 (+35%, or +247,000), and A18-49 (+36%, or +187,000). MTP has delivered across-the-board double-digit growth compared to the previous year for four consecutive weeks.

In the third quarter to date, MTP has narrowed the total viewer gap with CBS's "Face the Nation" half-hour by 81% compared to the same period in 2014: -90,000 this year vs. -475,000 last year. MTP now leads the CBS half hour by 117,000 A25-54 viewers in the quarter to date, a 277% turnaround from the -66,000 demo deficit in the same period last year.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market in total viewers, leading with three-digit advantages over its network competition.

MTP delivered an additional 1.039 million total viewers and 373,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
