On Thursday, April 11, PhilGrabskyfilms.com, in association with Seventh Art Productions, BY Experience and NCM Fathom Eventspresent MANET: Portraying Life, the first title in EXHIBITION, a series of ground-breaking art events created for the cinema. EXHIBITION will connect major international art exhibitions to millions of art lovers, across 30 countries.

EXHIBITION offers an unprecedented opportunity for audiences worldwide to experience the finest masterpieces of art from the world's foremost galleries that otherwise would only be seen locally. The series aims to allow art lovers of all ages to enjoy, marvel, delight and more deeply understand the works of some of history's most beloved painters.

In London, the critics are raving about the Royal Academy of Arts' MANET exhibit. The Times says "A rare opportunity to see some of the finest works of the artist. ***** five stars". The Daily Telegraph raved "An UNFORGETTABLE show! The shifting ground between portraiture and genre is explored in all its complexity in a ground-breaking new exhibition. **** five stars!" And The Independent says the exhibition is "full of astonishment and unmissable". The exhibition consists of more than 50 works; among them are portraits of Manet's most frequent sitters and scenes from everyday life revealing Manet's forward-thinking, modern approach.

MANET: Portraying Life will be available at movie theaters worldwide, in limited screenings only, beginning April 11, 2013. In addition to select independent cinemas and performing arts centers, the event will be broadcast to over 500 select movie theaters across the country through NCM Fathom Events and NCM's exclusive Digital Broadcast Network. The program will also be seen in the UK, Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, with additional countries pending.
