The 15th annual Long Island Gay & Lesbian Film Festival brings the best in LGBT Film to the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington. With 12 feature films, 3 documentaries, and 3 Short Film Programs, the festival will again be the largest LGBT art event on Long Island. The 2012 schedule provides the best films from local filmmakers and international entries including ones from Israel, Sweden, Thailand, and Iran. Each movie is an elaborate event, with 12 receptions catered by Long Island’s finest restaurants and performances by local music talent and some of Broadway’s brightest stars.

The festival comes to a close tonight, November 12. The closing party will be held at 8:15 p.m. as Festival Director Stephen Flynn’s last hurrah. After 15 years of devoting himself to the Film Festival, Flynn will be stepping down as Festival Director. 

Entertainment will be presented by NealB.TV and Broadway Sings for Pride. Neal B. will host Broadway’s finest performers including: Chondra Profit (The Lion King), Marcus Bellamy (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark), Elissa Goldstein (An Affirmative Act), Karmine Alers (Broadway’s Rent)
