Variety reports that Leonardo DiCaprio might star in Warner Bros. upcoming Woodrow Wilson biopic WILSON, adapted from A. Scott Berg's biography, out last week.

Wilson became President in 1912, after running as a third-party candidate against Taft and Roosevelt. He was re-elected in 1916 and saw the beginning of U.S. involvement in World War I. Wilson's wife Edith acted on his behalf during his last year in office after Wilson suffered a stroke.

Berg won a Pulitzer Prize for his biography of Charles Lindbergh in 1998.

DiCaprio will next be seen in The Wolf of Wall Street. His recent film credits include The Great Gatsby, Django Unchained, J. Edgar, Inception, Shutter Island, Revolutionary Road, Blood Diamond, The Departed, the Aviator, Catch Me If You Can and Gangs of New York.

He has been nominated for three Oscars and nine Golden Globes, and won a Golden Globe for his performance in The Aviator in 2004. DiCaprio owns Appian Way Productions, which would help produce WILSON.
