According to Entertain This, Kristen Stewart will not reprise her role as Snow White in the upcoming sequel to 2012's fantasy drama 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. Instead, the story will shift focus to the Huntsman, played by rising actor Chris Hemsworth, who recently appeared in both 'Thor' movies and 'The Avengers'.

It is unclear as to why exactly Stewart will not return to the franchise; however, the 'Twilight' actor did cause a bit of a commotion when she was caught smooching on set of the first film with director Rupert Sanders. The incident caused Sanders to split with his wife Liberty Ross, who appeared in 'Snow White' as Queen Eleanor.

It seems Rupert Sanders will also not be returning to the 'Snow White' set; Frank Darabont, who directed 'The Green Mile' and 'The Shashank Redemption', is in talks to take over the film.

Kristen Stewart will appear next in the upcoming adapation of 'Still Alice', based on Lisa Genova's book of the same name.
