Tony nominated actor and BOOK OF MORMON star Josh Gad has joined the ensemble cast of Stuart Blumberg's sex addiction dramedy "Thanks for Sharing" at Class 5 Films and Olympus Pictures, according to Variety.

Gad will play Neil, an unrestrained sex addict with a strong appetite who cheats his way through recovery programs.

Mark Ruffalo's character becomes his sponsor and helps straighten him out. Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Robbins and Joely Richardson also star.

Blumberg makes his directorial debut on the film which he co-wrote with Matt Winston. Shooting begins later this month in New York City.

In addition to starring on Broadway in BOOK OF MORMON, Gad is a correspondent on The Daily Show and is busy creating a comedy for NBC.  Gad had a breakout year in 2008 with key roles in "The Rocker" and "21," was last seen playing Jake Gyllenhaal's brother in "Love and Other Drugs."
