The theatre world is still getting over John Travolta botching Tony-winner Idina Menzel's name on Sunday's Oscar broadcast, instead, introducing her as "Adele Dazeem" before she launched into her performance of the Academy Award-winning "Let It Go" from FROZEN.

Today, Travolta has spoken out about the incident, saying in a statement: "I've been beating myself up all day. Then I thought...what would Idina Menzel say, She'd say, Let it go, let it go! Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!"

According to E!, sources say that Menzel, indeed, let the whole thing go.

"She laughed it off," a source told the publication. "She thought it was so funny. She was like, 'What are you going to do?'"

"The Oscars were a dream come true for Idina," the source said, confirming Menzel hugged him after leaving the stage. "She wasn't going to let anything get in the way of that."

Menzel won a Tony Award for her performance as Elphaba in the original Broadway production of "Wicked." She received a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in "Rent" and earned a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Manhattan Theater Club's off-Broadway musical "The Wild Party."

In March, Menzel will star in "If/Then," a new Broadway musical about a woman moving back to New York City for a fresh start. In addition to "Frozen," in which she voices the character of Elsa, Menzel's film roles include "Enchanted," "Ask the Dust" and "Rent."
