Idina Menzel to Lead 'Let It Go' Sing-a-Long on GMA

Today, Wednesday, February 26, ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA will broadcast a nationwide sing-a-long of the Oscar-nominated hit song "Let It Go," from the popular movie "Frozen."

Beginning in Times Square, the sing-a-long will include musician and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel and surprise cameos from celebrities, You Tube versions from kids around the world, and "Frozen" character's Princess Elsa and Princess Anna from Disney World.

'Let It Go' from Disney's FROZEN with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, has been nominated for Best Original Song for this year's Academy Awards. Idina Menzel, who voices the character Princess Elsa in the film, will be performing the song live on the Oscars telecast this Sunday, March 2nd on ABC.

Menzel won a Tony Award for her performance as Elphaba in the original Broadway production of "Wicked." She received a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in "Rent" and earned a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Manhattan Theater Club's off-Broadway musical "The Wild Party." In March, Menzel will star in "If/Then," a new Broadway musical about a woman moving back to New York City for a fresh start. In addition to "Frozen," in which she voices the character of Elsa, Menzel's film roles include "Enchanted," "Ask the Dust" and "Rent."
