Han Solo may be gearing up for another trip around the galaxy.

According to the Latino Review, "legitimate sources" have confirmed to them exclusively that Harrison Ford has officially signed on for the latest entry in the STAR WARS saga, EPISODE VII. As of now, neither Ford, Abrams, or Disney/Lucasfilm execs have confirmed the news, so go ahead and take it with a grain of salt. But as CNet points out, Latino Review has a pretty stellar track record with these sort of things.

Should Ford, now 70, return as the beloved bounty hunter, it would mark the second time he's reprised one of his most famous roles. In 2008, he picked up the bullwhip once more for INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULLS.

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to potentially hit theaters sometime in 2015 with a script by Michael Arndt, should everything with newly-tapped director J.J. Abrams run smoothly. Disney and Lucasfilm plan to release a new installment of the trilogy every other year, including origin stories for Ford's Han Solo, Boba Fett, and possibly even Yoda.

"To be a part of the next chapter of the Star Wars saga, to collaborate with Kathy Kennedy and this remarkable group of people, is an absolute honor," J.J. Abrams said in the announcement that he had accepted the reins. "I may be even more grateful to George Lucas now than I was as a kid."

J.J., his longtime producing partner Bryan Burk, and Bad Robot are on board to produce along with Kathleen Kennedy under the Disney | Lucasfilm banner.
