FROZEN Becomes #5 Highest Grossing Film Of All TimeDisney's super-successful animated movie musical FROZEN is now the fifth most successful film of all time.

The fairy tale flick remained at the top of the charts in Japan this weekened, where it is looking likely to soon top $200 million.

FROZEN has now earned $1.219 billion globally, with $818.7 million of the box office from overseas sales.

The official synopsis for FROZEN is as follows: "Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey-teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven-to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom."

FROZEN is directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, with a screenplay by Jennifer Lee and Shane Morris based on the Hans Christian Andersen story THE SNOW QUEEN. FROZEN stars the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Santino Fontana, Josh Gad and more.

FROZEN was released in the US on November 27.
