El Capitan Theatre Screens Marvel's AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, Now thru 5/20

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents a special engagement of Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," in realD 3D and Dolby Atmos from today, May 1 - 20, 2015, featuring special screenings, including "The Ultimate Marvel Marathon" and a special Marvel's AVENGERS Double Feature.

The "Ultimate Marvel Marathon" will take place at the El Capitan Theatre on April 20 at 6:00pm. This event is limited to 400 guests who will be among the first to see Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Meal and snack breaks will be provided, along with Special Guest Appearances, a Costume Contest, Raffle Prizes, Giveaways and more! Guests who stay for all 11 Marvel films will be awarded a Limited Edition Event Poster, and be entered into a raffle for two tickets to Marvel's ANT-MAN Premiere.

A special Marvel's AVENGERS Double Feature will be held on Thursday, April 30, featuring Marvel's "The Avengers" and Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" starting at 4:00pm. The $30 ticket price includes a reserved seat for both movies, Souvenir Tin Popcorn Bucket (unlimited refills), Souvenir Cup with Lid (unlimited refills), Ghirardelli Ice Cream Sundae, a Costume Contest, Raffle Prizes and more! THE DOUBLE Feature will be followed by a Special Late Night 11:00pm showing of Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"The El Capitan Theatre is truly Marvel's Avengers headquarters and we have created so many options to the most anticipated film of the year," said James Wood, operations and stage productions for The El Capitan Theatre. "And only at the El Capitan will guests be treated to an exclusive, behind-the-scenes display on the making of Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' which includes concept art and costumes from the film."

Guests also have the option to purchase a $29 VIP ticket to see Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron", which includes a reserved seat, popcorn, drink and a Special VIP Limited Edition Comic Book produced by Marvel Comics.

The El Capitan will also offer Special Student Ticket Offers for Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Individual $20 Student Tickets include a reserved seat and $10 Student Group Tickets are offered for groups of 10 or more. Both ticket types include small 32 oz popcorn and small 12 oz drink. Offer good for 11:40pm show on Opening Weekend (May 1st - 3rd) and any show M-F remainder of the run (May 4th - 20th).

Daily showtimes for opening weekend May 1 - 3 are 10 a.m., 1:25 p.m., 4:50 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and a 11:40 p.m. Daily showtimes for May 4 - 20 are 12:35 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:25 p.m., and 10:50 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the El Capitan Theatre (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), online at www.elcapitantickets.com, or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6. The El Capitan Theatre will also host a very special 2D Tiny Tot Tuesday every Tuesday during the run of Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" at 12:35 p.m. During these special screenings, parents and small children may enjoy the movie in a 2D tot-friendly way-with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels.

Marvel Studios presents "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Chris Evans as Captain America. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, Stellan Skarsgård as Erik Selvig and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, p.g.a., Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," first published in 1963. Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Jeremy Latcham, Patricia Whitcher, Stan Lee and Jon Favreau serve as executive producers. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015.
