According to Variety, Dwayne Johnson is officially in talks to lead Fox's upcoming BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA remake.

Per the report, the original 80s film starred Kurt Russell as "a trucker who gets dragged into a centuries-old mystical battle in Chinatown between warring clans."

The remake is being written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. Johnson will also produce should he sign on.

Johnson can currently be seen in the box office hit San Andreas, and will next star in HBO's new comedy series BALLERS.

He recently appeared in the films Hercules, Fast & Furious 7. His past film credits include Fast & Furious 6, Pain & Gain, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Snitch, Fast Five, Faster, The Other Guys, Get Smart, Race to Witch Mountain, The Scorpion King and more.
