Don Johnson in Final Talks to Join Cameron Diaz in THE OTHER WOMAN

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Don Johnson is in final talks to play Cameron Diaz's father in The Other Woman, directed by Nick Cassavetes for 20th Century Fox. He will join the previously announced Nicki Minaj, Kate Upton and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The movie, written by Melissa Stack, follows a lawyer (Diaz), "who finds out that she is 'the other woman' in an affair. She teams up with the wife (Mann) to get revenge on the cheating cad of a husband," played by Coster-Waldau. Minaj will play Diaz's assistant who can't seem to make her marriages work. Johnson will play Diaz's womanizing father.

Filming will begin early summer in New York City.

Johnson last appeared in Django Unchained. His other film credits include Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, Machete, When in Rome, Bastardi, Moondance Alexander, Goodbye Lover, Born Yesterday, The Hot Spot, Sweet Hearts Dance, Cease Fire and many TV movies.
