The Hollywood Reporter writes that Disney has picked up the new fairy tale comedy HAPPILY EVER AFTER, set to star Reese Witherspoon. The idea comes from Nahnatchka Khan (Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23).

HAPPILY EVER AFTER will follow a prince and princess 10 years after their wedding as they work to keep their relationship alive like any other couple -- in a fairy tale land.

Witherspoon's Pacific Standard will produce HAPPILY EVER AFTER with John Jacobs' Smart Entertainment.

Witherspoon will next be seen on the big screen in The Good Lie, Inherent Vice, Passengers and Wild.

Her past film credits include Devil's Knot, Mud, Water for Elephants, Four Chirstmases, Rendition, Penelope, Walk the Line, Vanity Fair, Sweet Home Alabama, Legally Blonde, The Importance of Being Earnest, American Psycho, Pleasantville and more.
