Corbin Bernsen and ChristianMingle Make a Movie Date

Home Theater Films, under leadership of actor, writer and director, Corbin Bernsen, announces their newest feature film, Christian Mingle. This new romantic comedy will be produced in partnership with ChristianMingle.com, the world's largest and fastest-growing online Christian community by the same name.

"Christian Mingle is about a young, modern, single woman. She's trying to achieve it all a successful career, amazing friends and finding Mr. Right," said Bernsen. "She stumbles into the world of online dating looking for an instant 'soul mate solution,' but ultimately ends up taking a personal journey transforming her life."

The Christian Mingle story centers on Gwyneth Hayden, a 30-something marketing executive with a top-notch career, killer wardrobe, dream apartment and great friends she thinks the only thing missing is a man. In a moment of inspired desperation, she fills out a profile on the dating website ChristianMingle.com hoping to find a nice guy. However, Gwyneth's Christianity is a little rusty and her attempts at impressing her dream guy end in disaster when he calls her out on her "faux faith." In an honest realization, she sees her superficial life for what it really is, and she's driven to create a personal relationship with God. In the end, He delivers on the true desires of her heart: "life-changing" love.

Cast includes Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five), Jonathan Patrick Moore (L.A. Complex, William and Kate), Stephen Tobolowsky (Groundhog Day), Erin Bethea (Fireproof) and John O'Hurley (Seinfeld, All My Children). Capitol Christian Distribution will provide the music and home entertainment distribution. Production began in Turlock, Calif., this month and will wrap in Los Angeles with the theatrical release planned for Spring 2014.
