Controversial Hollywood Journalist Nikki Fenke to Pen Book

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the controversial founder of Deadline Hollywood, Nikki Fenke, is publishing a book. A rep from Simon & Schuster confirmed that the tome would, of course, focus on Hollywood, and given her volatile relationship with many of the town's heavy-hitters, the release just might be explosive. The literary rep would not comment on what the book would be about, or whether it would be a work of fiction or not.

Fenke started Deadline in 2006, before selling the site in 2009. She remained in charge until last year when she clashed with her bosses. Since then, she has begun a new site NikkiFenke.com, but has stopped posting articles as she negotiates a settlement with her former employer Penske Media. Yesterday on her site, she posted a message that said, "Nikki Finke will announce her next career plans very soon. Please be patient and stay tuned..."

Earlier this week, the Committee for Decency in Journalism posted numerous photos of the reclusive Fenke before pulling them from the site NikkiStink.com. Over the years, Fenke's brash personality and vulgar vocabulary have caused a considerable amount of fear and anger in Tinsletown. Read the original article here.
