It looks like next April 20th will be a little funnier for some people. According to new reports per The Hollywood Reporter, comedians Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will soon be rolling out a new stoner comedy.

Details about the film are sparse, but it will be set at a festival entitled "Burning Joint." The as yet unnamed film will be directed by Jay Chandrasekhar who has previously directed Beerfest and the now cult classic, Super Troopers.

Chong says about Chandrasekhar to celebstoner.com, "He's working a script right now for us." "We've had some preliminary meetings. It looks really good. It looks really funny. It will be about us going to a festival called the Burning Joint. All sorts of shenanigans happen. It's going to be a lot of fun."

The news is welcome as the last Cheech and Chong film, Still Smokin, was released in 1983. The duo hit a career and box office high with Up in Smoke, released in 1978.

The film could start production as early as this summer.
