Colbie Caillat, Ron White, E.O. Wilson, The Mavericks and More Come to The Music Hall; Tickets on Sale 7/19

The Music Hall has announced six new shows coming to its already robust fall season of performances, cinema, and literary events on stage and on screen in two theaters. Tickets go on sale first to Music Hall members Saturday, July 5 and are on sale to non-members starting Saturday, July 19.

"We're excited to be bringing back a couple of old favorites this fall -- including the hilarious comedian Ron White as well as the genre-defying Grammy winners The Mavericks," said Thérèse LaGamma, Deputy Director of Programming/Performing Arts Curator. "New to our Intimately Yours roster is the amazingly talented pop sensation Colbie Caillat. And the Music Hall Loft welcomes one of Boston's most buzzed about bands-Air Traffic Controller!"

Writers on the New England Stage will be welcoming Pulitzer-prize winning author E.O. Wilson this October, "Author and Harvard Prof E.O. Wilson is at the top of any naturalist's or scientist's "must see" list. It's a tremendous honor that such world renowned expert is coming to town - his event will be enjoyed by anyone who has thought for a moment about our planet earth and its species. Monday, September 1, 2014, Historic Theater: Intimately Yours presents Colbie Caillat. Since her 2007 debut, Colbie Caillat has skyrocketed to fame. Sunday, September 7, 2014, the Loft: National Theatre of London Live presents Medea. Terrible things breed in broken hearts. Medea is a wife and a mother. Sunday, October 5, The Historic Theater: Hilarity at the Music Hall presents Ron White. One of most successful stand-ups in the country, Ron "Tater Salad" White is a classic storyteller, with tales lifted from real life-from the time he was a boy growing up in a small town in the middle of Texas oil country, to selling windows for a living in Arlington, to performing in sold-out theaters and arenas as a headlining comedian all across America. The razor-sharp, outrageously funny White first rose to fame as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, Historic Theater: Writers On A New England Stage presents: E. O. Wilson. The Pulitzer Prize winner and Harvard professor emeritus visits with his new work examining what makes humans beings supremely different from all other species, and how advances in science and technology bring us great moral dilemmas. Don't miss hearing from the bestselling author of The Social Conquest of Earth and co-author of On Human Nature- the renowned naturalist, theorist and humanist E.O. Wilson.

Saturday, October 25, the Loft: The District Singer-Songwriter Series: Air Traffic Controller. With a refreshing, modern day, indie rock sound, ATC further infuses its compositions with unforgettable pop sensibilities while keeping it honest, with autobiographical lyrics and well-crafted storytelling reminiscent of classic singer/songwriters. The band features Dave Munro on lead vocals and guitar; multi-instrumentalist Steve Scott on lead guitar, keys, and more; big brother Richie Munro on drums; Casey Sullivan on bass, banjo, and backing vocals; with violinist Alison Shipton and Kiara Perico on viola. The band often performs live accompanied on stage by an entire string section to capture and recreate its brilliant, full sound... one that consistently identifies Air Traffic Controller as one of the fastest rising original acts in the country

Wednesday, November 5: Intimately Yours: The Mavericks. This genre-busting band made fireworks when they first appeared. Now with their new album In Time they are promising to once again set the music world on fire. Raul Malo, their Cuban-American lead singer with a voice that we haven't heard the likes of since Roy Orbison, leads a group that fuses country with rock and roll. They reach new heights with sound that smacks the head and tears the heart. We are excited to welcome them back to The Music Hall!
