According to Deadline, INTO THE WOODS star Chris Pine will narrate Ari Levinson's indie documentary THIS IS NOT A CLUB, which centers on high schoolers competing on speech and debate teams around the country in preparation for the national tournament in Las Vegas.

Produced by Erica Dasher and Sami Kriegstein, THIS IS NOT A CLUB was filmed "over the course of 12 months in seven states, capturing the highs and lows in the lives of [Levinson's] teenage participants -- four teams of two each -- who grapple with issues from sexual identity, race and gender, parental pressures, and falling in love while competing in the world of 'DUO' performance, in which partners cannot touch, make eye contact, use props or wear costumes."

Pine's narration is being edited in after-the-fact; he joined the project after an "enthusiastic response" to Levinson's material.

Pine will next be seen in Disney's INTO THE WOODS as 'Cinderella's Prince'. His upcoming projects include Z for Zachariah, The Finest Hours and Mantivities. He recently appeared on the big screen in Horrible Bosses 2, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and the Star Trek films.
