BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 Dominates Global Box Office with $447 Million and Counting

As reported earlier today, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 continued its reign at the top of the list for a third week, raising its domestic total to just over $254 million.

Although steadily working its way toward being highest grossing film of the franchise domestically, BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 is dominating the overseas box office, according to Oh No They Didn't. 

Having added $48.9 million this weekend and grossing $447 million globally, the film is now the top earner of the series abroad, surpassing BREAKING DAWN - PART 1, which drew $430 million last year.

Add the foreign takings to the overall pot and that brings BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 to $702 million, on track to pass former franchise leader NEW MOON ($709 million) to become the series' largest earner ever at the worldwide box office.
