BD Wong Will Reprise JURASSIC PARK Role in JURASSIC WORLD
In a new interview with IGN, JURASSIC WORLD director Colin Trevorrow confirmed that stage and screen vet BD Wong will return for the next installment in the franchise.
"This hasn't been announced yet, but BD Wong will be returning as Dr. Henry Wu," Trevorrow said. "He had a much larger role in the original novel, he was the engineer of this breakthrough in de-extinction. He spent two decades living in Hammond's shadow, underappreciated. We think there's more to his story."
'WORLD' also stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Vincent D'Onofrio. Original JURASSIC PARK director Steven Spielberg will produce.
The first film, released originally in 1993, was recently re-released in 3D April 5. It starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum , Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough , the film based on the novel by Michael Crichton is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen .
JURASSIC WORLD is set for a June 12, 2015 release.
