Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Goldblum & Oliver Platt Join Johnny Depp in MORTDECAI

MORTDECAI continues to add to its all-star ensemble cast.

The film, based on the popular three-novel anthology by Kyril Bonfiglioli, David Koepp's Mortdecai stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany and Olivia Munn. The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Goldblum, and Oliver Platt have also joined the cast.

In the film, Depp portrays art dealer Charlie Mortecai who "hunts for a stolen painting that is said to hold a secret code that can lead to a Nazi gold stash. He must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold."

No details as to which roles the trio are taking on have been announced.

Eric Aronson penned the script for the project being produced by Depp, Andrew Lazar, Christi Dembrowski and Gigi Pritzker.
