Arkin, Crudup & Kinnear to Star in 'The Convincer' Flick

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Alan Arkin, Billy Crudup, and Greg Kinnear have signed on to appear in the upcoming film 'The Convincer.' 

The film focuses on a desperate insurance salesman who finds a rare violin. Jill Sprecher and Karen Sprecher wrote 'The Convincer,' and Jill Sprecher will direct.

Alan Arkin won a Tony for his performance in Enter Laughing and was nominated for his work in The Sunshine Boys. Other Broadway credits include Taller Than a Dwarf, Molly, Luv and From the Second City, among others. His many film credits include Little Miss Sunshine (for which he won an Oscar), Thirteen Conversations About One Thing, America's Sweethearts, Slums of Beverly Hills, Grosse Point Blank, Glengarry GLen Ross, The In-Laws, The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and Little Murders.

Billy Crudup won a Tony for his performance as Belinsky in The Coast of Utopia, and was also nominated for his work in The Pillowman and The Elephant Man. Film work includes The Good Shepherd, Stage Beauty and Big Fish. Wilson, who last appeared on Broadway in Barefoot in the Park, received Tony nods for his performances in The Full Monty and Oklahoma!. He has been seen on screen in such films as Evening, Running with Scissors and Little Children. He was Emmy-nominated for his work in "Angels in America." He was most recently seen in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies" and Zack Snyder's "Watchmen."

Greg Kinnear's many film credits include Little Miss Sunshine, As Good As It Gets (for which he was nominated for an Oscar), Nurse Betty, Someone Like You, Flash of Genius, and Invincible.
