The official soundtrack album for "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones" [CONSTANTIN FILM/SCREEN GEMS] expands its already diverse and dynamic tracklisting with a brand new collaborative track entitled "Almost Is Never Enough" (Soundtrack Version) from platinum-selling singer and actress Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes of multi-platinum pop titans The Wanted. The collection will be available on August 20, 2013 in stores and through all digital retailers via REPUBLIC RECORDS. Meanwhile, the movie hits big screens a day later on August 21.

The duet entitled sees these two unique voices come together for a veritable pop event worthy of the story's scope and size. Grande's immense vocals transfix as Nathan Sykes carries bombastic harmonies over intimate yet infectious production. Fans of both artists and the series will immediately be entranced by this soaring anthem. You won't be able to get enough of it.

The collaboration caps off a high profile track list boasting new songs from the likes of multi-platinum selling pop artist Demi Lovato, multi-platinum alt-rock band AFI, Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum singer songwriter Colbie Caillat, and many more. Bassnectar's deadly dubstep boom resonates loudly, while Zedd kicks off this affair with effusive EDM energy. Jessie J delivers her signature pop prowess on another banger as well.

The album opens the doorway into the world of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones", and the music fuels the film's mind-blowing fantasy. It's the perfect aural gateway to the City of Bones for fans of the series and newcomers alike. The music serves an integral role in the film, adding even more emotion to key moments. Every element comes together for an Unforgettable experience.

This release also continues a big-screen tradition for REPUBLIC RECORDS, whose recent success includes chart-topping albums for Les Miserables, Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games, and AMC's The Walking Dead.

A Constantin Film International GmbH and Unique Features (TMI) Inc. production, "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" is directed by Harald Zwart from a screenplay by Jessica Postigo Paquette based on the New York Times best-selling young adult fantasy novel by Cassandra Clare. The film features Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and more. Robert Kulzer and Don Carmody are producing and Bob Shaye, Michael Lynne and Martin Moszkowicz are executive producing.

Set in contemporary New York, "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones" follows Clary Fray, a seemingly ordinary teenager as she discovers that she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother, Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternative New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.
