Sonnet Realm Films is excited to announce that Ricco Ross (Aliens) will be joining the cast of ALIEN IDENTITY as Richard Frost, the brother of Pvt. Robert Frost, and will also be coming on board as a producer for the film.

"When I heard of the story I thought, 'why hasn't someone thought of this sooner?' Great idea and it makes sense that the concept would come from a fan and not Hollywood Execs. Very happy to be a part of this exciting project and to get the cast on screen together again. Aliens fans, buckle up, you're in for a hell of a ride. Stay frosty." - Ricco Ross

As a surprise to the fan community, they are happy to announce Carrie Henn (Young Newt from Aliens) is confirmed to make an appearance in ALIEN IDENTITY as Anne Jorden, young Newt's mother in a flashback. This will be Henn's first film in nearly 30 years since Aliens (1986).

"I am looking forward to working on Aliens from a different perspective. I can't wait to hear what all the fans think!" - Carrie Henn

Elle Viane Sonnet stars as Rebecca "Newt" Jorden, 14 years after the events of Aliens.

"Ricco's and Carrie's contributions to this tribute film are very exciting for us all. They are both amazing people and we're thrilled to work with them. I am also really excited to play Newt, she's a strong character with a complicated past. There's a lot to explore there." - Elle Viane Sonnet

Adam Sonnet is set to direct the film; he started Sonnet Realm Films in 2008 in Seattle, WA and in 2011 moved the company to Hollywood, CA.

"I just want to say that I am very thankful to the fans for their encouragement and support for this very exciting film. We're bringing some of the best talent on board to give it the quality and purity it deserves. We will be revealing more surprises in the coming months.

"We also wanted to extend our gratitude to 20th Century Fox for allowing the fans over the years to produce well executed Alien/Predator fan films like Batman: Dead End, Aliens: LV-426, and most recently, Predator: Dark Ages. Films like these are a testament to the potential of the fan film community, and we hope that our film, ALIEN IDENTITY, will inspire others as well to create fan films for years to come. As a fan of the Alien films, I'm very much looking forward to what Neill Blomkamp is doing and want to wish him continued success." - Adam Sonnet, Director/Writer

ALIEN IDENTITY is a Tribute Feature Film to the Alien Universe. It plays heavily on the aesthetics of H.R. Giger and takes place 14 years after the events of Aliens, with an alternate timeline. The director wants to explore further into the unknown, discovering uncharted territory, introducing new heroes, villains, and ideas, while remaining faithful to the essence of Alien.

Sonnet Realm Films plans to launch their first installment of Kickstarter in the coming months.
