Most recently, Nugent was with Voltage Pictures, where he served as Executive Assistant to the President of the company.

Previously, Nugent was an Associate Producer at A Big Trailer where he oversaw day-to-day operations on all international sales and delivery trailers, which included projects such as three-time Academy Award® winner "Dallas Buyers Club," "The Company You Keep" and "Necessary Death of Charlie Countrymen."

Nugent graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in film and media studies.
