STARTEK Responds to Philippines Typhoon Relief Efforts
STARTEK (NYSE:SRT), a provider of comprehensive contact center and business process outsourcing solutions, announced its operations in the Philippines were not affected by Haiyan, the category 5 typhoon that made landfall in the Philippine archipelago. All employees were reported as safe.
“The majority of our employees work and live in Manila or Angeles City which are outside of the boundaries of the affected areas,” said Chad Carlson, president and CEO of STARTEK. “However we know that many of our employees have family and friends who lived in the area devastated by Haiyan. Our hearts go out to the people affected by the storm.”
STARTEK is donating money and other needed items to the Philippine Red Cross at our locations in the Philippines and in North America.
