With cameras rolling next week in New Orleans, Mike Epps has signed on to star in Zak Knutson's comedy SUPERCON, which follows a rag-tag group of former TV stars and comic book artists, who make their living working at comic-con conventions that decide to steal the loot from a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon.

Epps can currently be seen in ABC's comedy UNCLE BUCK, which had the network's highest comedy debut in nine years. He is also starring in the Starz Network's Survivors Remorse in July.

Gold Star Films Joey Tufaro is producing alongside MOmentum Productions Susan Gorrell and Maria McDonald.

"Having Mike attached to this project is a comedic homerun for me. Mike's hilarious improvisational skills will help elevate the script and make working with him a real pleasure," said Knutson.

Epps is represented by CAA and managed by Industry Entertainment's, Dan Spilo.
