Dyn Chief Strategy Officer To Speak About Internet Performance... The increasing scale, complexity and volatility of the internet threatens to undermine the quality of service delivered by hosting and cloud providers. At HostingCon, Kyle York, Chief Strategy Officer at Dyn, an Internet Performance Management company, will discuss how organizations can manage the internet like an asset to monitor, control and optimize digital channels.

Kyle’s talk, “Harnessing the Scale, Complexity and Volatility of the Internet” will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. in room 210.

“The internet is growing exponentially, with the number of users surging by more than 250 million in 2015 alone,” York said. “All this activity generates phenomenal amounts of internet-based data that’s crossing vital business networks and forcing the adoption and growth of cloud infrastructures. This dramatically increasing complexity makes it daunting for companies to truly embrace and trust the internet to deliver business critical apps. Internet Performance Management (IPM) is the solution.”

York will also be holding an issues and trends roundtable on Monday, July 25, at 1:30 p.m. The topic will discuss visibility and control of the internet in a hybrid cloud world and will focus specifically on hosting and cloud providers.

Dyn has frequently contributed thought leadership around managing the hybrid cloud, including working closely with O’Reilly on an ebook titled, “Optimizing Cloud Migration: Performance Lessons for the Enterprise” and an article by Dyn Founder Jeremy Hitchcock titled, “Are You Effectively Managing Your Hybrid Cloud Environment?”
