Damaka Introduces Video Client Xabr for Cisco Jabber, Callmanager & Telepresence
Damaka, a technology pioneer in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), has introduced Xabr, a unique software client that extends the Video, Audio, IM, Presence, and Collaboration capabilities of Cisco's Unified Communications solutions to iOS (Apple) and Android mobile devices without any additional hardware or software requirement.
Damaka has developed Xabr, a state-of-the-art product that extends mobile video and collaboration to users of Cisco Jabber, Call Manager, and TelePresence. Enterprises that have deployed Cisco solutions can leverage their existing hardware infrastructure to include Xabr as part of their Mobile Strategy.
"Xabr offers unique modality management of IM, Audio, Video, and Desktop Sharing. With the power of software, our goal is to unify Cisco's suite of communication and collaboration solutions into a unified native mobile client," said Siva Chaturvedi, CEO of Damaka. "Users of Jabber, Call Manager, TelePresence, and soon - WebEx, will have a unified video & collaborative experience on smartphones & tablets."
Damaka has already released the only full-featured Mobile UCC products in the market for Microsoft OCS R2 / Lync 2010 & 2013 / Office 365, and IBM Sametime.
In contrast to traditional offerings that require additional server deployments, Damaka's mantra of 'pure software play' and 'no additional server infrastructure' for Mobile UCC solutions minimizes cost of ownership and deployment headaches for Enterprise IT. Damaka's software magic continues to define enterprise mobile video and mobile collaboration providing a rich mobile multimedia experience.
Xabr will be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play shortly. As part of its Enterprise Mobile Video and Mobile Collaboration strategy, Damaka continues to bring advanced communication and collaboration solutions that enable today's mobile workforce to be highly productive.
