Just last week, Tim Cook said the following at an investory conference:

What would Apple NEVER do?

"The only thing we'll never do is to make a crappy product. That's the ONLY religion that we have, that we must do something great, something bold, something ambitious, something great for customers. And, we sweat all of the details."

But what MIGHT Apple do? According to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty via CNET - "An iPhone Mini priced at $330 in China would provide a healthy shot in the arm to Apple's Chinese smartphone sales, according to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty. A low-priced iPhone would add another 20 percent to the 10 percent Chinese market share currently addressed by the iPhone 5, the analyst said toda. Smartphone prices are starting to stabilize in China, which will open up the market for such a phone. But a deal with China Mobile is also key."

Earlier rumors have also pegged the constantly talked about plastic iPhone cheaper model that keeps rearing its head, as allegedly headed for China where a cheaper iPhone would be more competitive with other manufacturers for that market.

Again, all still rumors.

iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, completely redesigned to feature a stunning new 4-inch Retina display; an Apple-designed A6 chip for blazing fast performance; and ultrafast wireless*-all while delivering even better battery life.** iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6, the world's most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features including: Shared Photo Streams, all-new Maps app, Passbook organization and even more Siri features and languages.

The fourth generation iPad with Wi-Fi models come in black or white for a suggested retail price of $499 (US) for the 16GB model, $599 (US) for the 32GB model and $699 (US) for the 64GB model.
