New York City's CORE: club will host a special advance screening of SHE'S THE BEST THING IN IT, Ron Nyswaner's documentary on Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson, on Thursday, February 18, 2016.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that former Tonys host and Broadway vet Alan Cumming will be hosting a Q&A with Mary Louise Wilson, filmmaker Ron Nyswaner and producer Neda Armian following the film.

From Oscar-nominated writer/producer Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia, The Painted Veil, Ray Donovan, Homeland, and Freeheld), the film tells the story of Mary Louise Wilson, who at the at age 79, is the most accomplished character actor you've never heard of.

SHE'S THE BEST THING IN IT is an exploration of the craft of acting and career success as Tony winner Wilson returns home to New Orleans to teach her first acting class to skeptical students of the Youtube generation. Wilson's class takes place in New Orleans, where she was raised in the 1940s. She reconnects with her competitive sister, and examines the scars of a painful childhood, a short-lived marriage, self-sabotage, alcoholism, and her reinvention, at age 60, as playwright and star with her acclaimed one-woman show about fashion icon Diana Vreeland.

The paths where passion and art intersect are explored further with special interviews featuring Frances McDormand, Melissa Leo, Tyne Daly, Estelle Parsons, Charlotte Rae, Valerie Harper and playwright Doug Wright.

SHE'S THE BEST THING IN IT had its World Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 16th, 2015.
