AT&T Activates New Cell Site In Farmington Hills To Provide More Mobile Internet Coverage For Customers

To support growing demand for advanced mobile devices and applications, AT&T* today announced the activation of a new mobile internet cell site in Farmington Hills near Farmington and W. 13 Mile Roads. The cell site will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses. With mobile Internet speeds, AT&T customers can surf the Web, download files faster, and enjoy the very latest interactive mobile applications.

"Next-generation communications technology and partners like AT&T are helping Oakland County compete and win in both the state and global economy," said State Senator Vincent Gregory (D-Southfield). "New innovations in our communications infrastructure are a critical tool for the region and our families and job providers can all be grateful for."

The new cell site is one part of AT&T's ongoing efforts to drive investment and innovation to deliver the nation's best, most advanced mobile Internet experience for customers. AT&T has the nation's largest 4G network, which provides accelerated mobile data speeds and simultaneous voice and data capabilities.
