In hot anticipation of the Netflix revival of the beloved series Gilmore Girls (launching November 25), Skyhorse Publishing's Eat Like a Gilmore: The Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Gilmore Girls, by Kristi Carlson, has spiked to #7 on Amazon's Holiday & Entertaining bestseller list.

The book, now available for pre-order through Amazon and Barnes & Noble, reaches bookstores October 25. It draws inspiration from the TV show's Luke's Diner, Sookie's eclectic inn fare, Emily's fancy Friday night dinners, and favorites from around Stars Hollow. From "The Birthday Girl" (the cocktail crafted especially for Rory's twenty-first birthday) to Sookie's "Macaroni & Cheese in a Jalapeo-Chipotle Cream Sauce" (a gooey concoction, misguidedly offered to Lorelai as the "kid's food" when it was first created)it's all there.

"We're thrilled to be working with Kristi on this fun and unique project," said Abigail Gehring, Skyhorse's associate publisher. "We had high hopes for the book from the start and every piece has come together beautifully. It's perfect for Gilmore Girls fans and we're so excited about the enthusiastic responses the book is receiving already!"

Fans of the show are as passionate about the series as the main characters are about food and caffeine, and demand for all things Gilmore Girls is growing. Recently, more than two hundred coffee shops nationwide converted their venues into Luke's Diner coffee shop pop-ups.

Anyone with an Internet connection knows that the Netflix revival isn't the only thing Gilmore Girls fans are looking forward to this fall. For example, from October 2123, The Gilmore Girls Fan Festival takes over the real Connecticut town of Washington Depot (on which the show's fictional setting, Stars Hollow, was based), and Eat Like a Gilmore will be there too. On October 21, come meet author Kristi Carlson; she will be performing a live cooking demo and signing copies of her book!
