In 10 days, Tiff's Treats will open its fifth location in the Houston area with a grand opening fundraiser Saturday, April 16 from 9 am to 4pm at 1620 Research Forest Drive, Suite 150, 77381 in The Woodlands. This is the 21st store for Austin-based Tiff's Treats, the first in the nation to create the warm cookie delivery concept. In its previous 20 store opening events, Tiff's Treats has raised $90,000 for charities. More on The Woodlands opening here: http://cookiedelivery.com/Company/Grand-Opening-The-Woodlands.aspx

The Woodlands store will hold a grand opening fundraiser where Tiff's Treats will be selling a dozen cookies for only $5 (no call ahead orders). Customers at the opening can purchase up to six one-dozen boxes filled with one of Tiff's Treats most irresistible flavors: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin, for just $5 a box, to a maximum of 6 boxes purchased per person.

All of the proceeds from this day (up to $5,000) will go to The Connor Man Foundation to help fund research for the early childhood brain tumor DIPG. DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) is a rare, inoperable brain tumor that strikes young children. This foundation is personally important to Tiff's Treats as the Houston marketing lead for the company, Zach Medlin, is a relative of Connor , who passed away at 4 years old from DIPG in October of last year.

Connor's parents, Alexis and Peter Olympia, shared this: "At the end of each week, Connor's school would host Cookie Friday. Needless to say, Connor loved that day and he loved cookies. In memory of Connor and his battle against DIPG, The Connor Man Foundation is determined to find a cure for this form of pediatric brain cancer. We are so happy to partner with Tiff's Treats to raise much-needed funds and awareness to this rare, yet deadly disease. Join the Connor Man team at the Grand Opening of Tiff's Treats in The Woodlands on April 16. Become a superhero and help us Defeat DIPG!"

You can also bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to kids at MD Anderson and Tiff's Treats will give you a $5 gift card (one gift card per person).

Tiff's Treats is also excited Fozzy Whittaker, former Longhorn and current Carolina Panther NFL player, will be at the grand opening to sign autographs from 9am-10:30am.

"This is the first Tiff's Treats in The Woodlands and the excitement about our arrival by this great area of Houston has been overwhelming," said Leon Chen, co-founder of Tiff's Treats. "We truly feel we already have great loyal supportive customers in The Woodlands before we even open our doors."

Tiff's Treats will also be giving away all sorts of prizes at this grand opening including gift cards to local area restaurants and shops, randomly inserted into boxes of cookies. The first 10 people in line at the 9 am opening will get a $100 Tiff's Treats gift card, the next 10 will get a $50 gift card, next 10 a $25 gift card, and the next 10 will get a $10 gift card. Everyone who attends has a chance to win free cookies for a year.

The Woodlands location is at 1620 Research Forest Drive, Suite 150, 77381 will be open for business full time Sunday, April 17 at 10 am.

The five Houston stores combine with 16 others, six in the Austin area headquarters city, three in San Antonio and seven in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, the hometown of both founders. Tiff's Treats will be opening an additional store in the Austin area very soon, and will open its first store outside the state of Texas in the first half of 2016.

This aggressive expansion is all part of the strategic plan for Tiff's Treats and funded by overall business growth as well as a $14+ million investment the company received in mid 2015 from investors impressed by the success of the brand to date, and the opportunity for it to grow.

All Tiff's Treats locations deliver warm cookies, straight from the oven, to businesses and homes in four Texas cities. Tiff's Treats is a delicious idea for dessert delivery to your home or business, client gifts and meeting snacks, birthday gifts, a sweet-tooth fix and more. Baked fresh when you order from premium ingredients, all cookies and brownies are delivered warm, straight from the oven, in a white box complete with a colorful ribbon. For those who appreciate the experience of a warm cookie made from scratch (of only the finest ingredients and right out of the oven!), Tiff's Treats offers something thoroughly enjoyable, as it is the first company in the country to pioneer warm cookie and brownie delivery.
