SCHNIPPERS for Fast-Casual Goodness

Schnippers is the brainchild of brothers and restaurateurs, Andrew and Jonathan Schnipper who have built the brand with their passion for great food, fine quality, and top-notch service. We stopped by early on a Sunday evening at Schnippers on 8th Avenue and 41st Street, located just across the street from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and very convenient to the theatre district. It's a spacious restaurant, with comfortable seating and floor to ceiling windows that look out on the bustling neighborhood.

The menu is expansive, but it is easy to streamline your choices. In addition to top-notch burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and all the sides, there is nice selection of salads like their Fresh Market or Classic Cobb along with specialty items like their tasty tacos. We especially like that all the choices are made to your order.

We were in the mood for a hearty meal. Schnippers has perfected their all-natural American beef burgers and they are cooked medium unless otherwise specified. We enjoyed their signature Schnippers Classic with special blend of cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, arugula, and Schnipper Sauce. Other burgers include their Green Chile Cheeseburger and their Blue Cheese Burger. Tempting sides round out your meal like their ever-popular Sweet Potato Fries, Thick Cut Onion Rings, Caesar Side Salad or Fresh Side Salad.

We also enjoyed Schnippers Mac and Cheese. It's creamy, rich, and delicious with 5 blended cheeses topped with a layer of homemade breadcrumbs. It can be served in a full portion, half portion and also with Schnippers uniquely delicious Sloppy Joe recipe.

Pairing your meal with a beverage is easy. Handcrafted shakes in luscious flavors like Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream and Honey Vanilla or soft drinks and lemonade round out your meal. Wine and beer is available when dining in.
