Cantina Rooftop, one of New York City's most expansive rooftop restaurant and cocktail bars, features an authentic Mexican menu from Executive Chef Gonzalo Colin and expertly crafted cocktails, with a focus on premium tequilas and mezcals from mixologist Nelson Lemus. The year-round rooftop will re-open tonight, April 12th, 2017 for the season.

Cantina Rooftop will offer an updated authentic Mexican menu from Executive Chef Gonzalo Colin, inspired by the street food he grew up eating in his native Mexico City. The rooftop restaurant will offer a selection of Ceviches, Salads and Tacos, in addition to signature house specials including Enchiladas Poblanos (braised pulled chicken with mole, lettuce, red onion, red radish, crema and queso fresco), Camarones Al Ajillo (garlic shrimp with tequila flame, lime juice, chile de arbol and Mexican rice) and Rooftop Molcajete (grilled sirloin Cecina, adobo chicken, chorizo, enchilado queso fresco, grilled cactus, charred jalapeno, served with freshly-cooked tortillas). Starters and side dishes such as Mexican Street Corn and a selection of Guacamoles made tableside are not to be missed.

Noted mixologist, tequila expert and Bacardi brand ambassador Nelson Lemus, previously of Agave in the West Village and Mojave in Queens, created Cantina Rooftop's signature Rooftop Cocktail Menu, which includes the Sangre de Nopal (Cazadores Tequila Blanco, prickly pear, St. Germain elderflower, citrus and agave necter), the Teporocho with Mezcal, pineapple, citrus and spice agave, the Pero Woah! with Bacardi Superior Rum, passion fruit, coconut and pineapple, and the Chingon with Bulleit Bourbon, Crème de Cassis, pineapple, citrus and orange bitters. Also available are a selection of Margaritas, both traditional and flavored, along with Mexican classics like the Poloma, Mojito and Michelada.

The year-round, fully retractable rooftop restaurant provides New Yorkers and visitors from around the world with the perfect escape to Mexico in Hell's Kitchen. Steps away from the Hudson River, Cantina Rooftop features a bar, lounge and an 80-person outdoor dining area with a secondary bar. The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery, festive and authentic Mexican décor, lounge seating, along with individual and large group tables.

Located just steps away from the Hudson River on West 48th Street in Hell's Kitchen, Cantina Rooftop provides New Yorkers and visitors from around the world with the perfect escape to Mexico in the heart of Manhattan.

Cantina Rooftop is located at 605 W. 48th Street, New York, NY 10036. Call (212) 957-1700 or visit cantinarooftop.com for more information.
