Luis Salgado has been selected as one of 12 Coors Light Li?deres of legal drinking age as a finalist for his commitment to empower the Latino community. Coors Light believes in rewarding the dedication and tenacious spirit of emerging leaders who selflessly work hard to achieve success by helping others. Luis is one of 12 li?deres who are competing to become the 2017 Coors Light Lider of the Year through an online public voting competition.

The public can start voting for Luis at www.CoorsLightLideres.com today, July18, through August 18, 2017. The winner will receive a $25,000 grant to implement a program in partnership with R.Evolución Latina to improve and empower the local Latino community. "I am honored to represent my community for this year's Coors Light Li?deres program," said Luis Salgado. "Coors Light has made a commitment to the Hispanic community to recognize and reward the dedication and tenacious spirit of emerging Latino leaders like me. I am grateful for the opportunity to compete and hopefully win a grant for R.Evolución Latina, especially as we celebrate our 10 years providing services to our community."

Luis was selected as one of the 2017 Coors Light Lideres because of his work and passion to create social change through his art.

"Through the Coors Light Li?deres program, we have the opportunity to create awareness about 12 outstanding Latino leaders who are inspiring others and making a difference to improve the quality of life in communities across the country," said Alberto Senior, who leads MillerCoors' national Latino community efforts. "For the past decade, the Li?deres program has recognized the unique accomplishments of 160 leaders, and I am excited about awarding the 2017 Li?der of the Year with a $25,000 grant that will help support the Latino community."
Since 2006, the Coors Light Li?deres program has raised awareness and highlighted the achievements of national and local leaders within the Hispanic community. The Coors Light Li?deres program offers up-and-coming Latino professionals leadership tools, counsel and networking opportunities.

R.Evolución Latina, is led by founder/director Luis Salgado and co-directors Denisse Ambert, Heather Hogan and Gabriela García.
