Good Humor' Brings Summer Tour To Washington, D.C. With Ryan Kerrigan As Honorary Good Humor' Man

Today, Good Humor is returning to Washington, D.C. with its East Coast "Welcome to Joyhood" tour. After visiting New York City and Boston, the iconic brand is traveling to the Ronald Reagan Building to kick off the Washington, D.C. leg of the tour with a fun-filled event for those who live, work and play in the city. As part of the event, Good Humor is partnering with Washington Redskins linebacker and 2015 Walter Payton Man of the Year, Ryan Kerrigan, as an Honorary Good Humor Man.

Ryan Kerrigan will join the Good Humor Joy Squad to bring free ice cream and giveaways* to Washington, D.C. residents. The fun-filled event will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building (located at the Woodrow Wilson Moynihan Plaza) today, July 26, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

"The D.C. fans have been so great over the course of my football career," said Ryan Kerrigan. "Today I'm excited to be here with Good Humor as the Honorary Good Humor Man to meet fans and give out free ice cream."

The Good Humor Joy Squad and the Good Humor Truck will surprise and delight Washington, D.C. residents in neighborhoods throughout the city from July 26 to August 19. After Washington, D.C., the Good Humor Joy Squad will travel to Miami beginning August 25.

"Good Humor has been bringing joy to fans for more than 90 years, said Nick Soukas, director of ice cream at Unilever. "We're looking forward to bringing 'Joyhood' and celebrating ice cream season to Washington, D.C. for the second year in a row."
