NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Valentine's Day shouldn't be limited to couples sharing a little too much PDA ("Public Display of Affection"). This Valentine's Day season, GODIVA Chocolatier is helping people celebrate all types of love (from romantic love to family, friendship, colleagues and neighbors) in a big way with Public Displays of GODIVA (PDGs). Actress and Executive Producer Eva Longoria of "Telenovela" kicked off the campaign yesterday in Los Angeles and will be surprising people she loves with her own PDGs.

"'Public Displays of GODIVA' reminds us to cherish all the people we love and care about, and to celebrate the joy they bring to our lives," said Eva Longoria. "I'm thrilled to be part of a campaign that embraces every type of love."

To help its customers create their own personal PDGs, GODIVA is offering a sumptuous Valentine's Day collection including a new, limited-time Coupes d'amour ("cups of love") collection in boxes designed by famed French artist Charlotte Gastaut. The pieces showcase ganache, praline, or caramel nestled inside of a milk, white or dark chocolate cup. With exceptional flavor combinations like Strawberry Ganache with milk chocolate, and Pistachio Praline with white chocolate, the Coupes d'amour collection is the perfect gift to share with friends, family or a loved one.

Other notable products in the Valentine's Day collection include:

  • The Keepsake Heart, which features the brand's iconic heart-shaped chocolates, seasonal truffles and classic pieces, is wrapped in sumptuous red satin and can be personalized in store.
  • GODIVA's Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries are hand-dipped in rich GODIVA chocolate - available online for weekend delivery and in boutiques, for delivery via a new same-day courier service.
  • The iconic 36-pc Gold Collection includes pralines, ganaches, caramels, nuts and fruits in milk, dark and white chocolate.

The Valentine's Day collection is available at GODIVA boutiques and GODIVA.com and ranges from $7.00 to $125.00.

"We show our affection to loved ones in small gestures throughout the year, so on Valentine's Day we want to inspire people to show their love in a big way," said Michelle Chin, Head of Marketing and Product Development for GODIVA North America. "By making a show of it with a big PDG and GODIVA chocolates, we are excited to help people create memories that last a lifetime."

Consumers can share how they are surprising their loved ones with a Public Display of GODIVA on our social using @GODIVA #LoveGODIVA.
