Roots Handmade Pizza (1924 W Chicago Ave) will throw a "Final Four of Beers" event for the Final Four games starting on Saturday, April 5 and will conclude after the National Championship game on Monday, April 7.

Roots will tap four limited-release Midwestern craft beers/ciders for the Final Four games and those beers will last thru the National Championship game. They are:

* American Muscle Imperial IPA ~ Local Option Bierwerker ~ Chicago ~ 12.5% ABV

* Double Crooked Tree IPA ~ Dark Horse Brewing Company ~ Marshall, Michigan ~ 12.0% ABV

* The Mitten Bourbon Barrel Aged Cider ~ Virtue Cider ~ Fennville, Michigan ~ 6.9% ABV

* Austere Saison ~ Une Année Brewery ~ Chicago ~ 6.5% ABV

Roots will show the Final Four games and the National Championship game on its 15 flatscreen TVs with sound.

Roots recently revamped its Midwest-only beer list and now features over 100 beers available via draft, bottles, cans, and large format selections. Roots' new beer list can be viewed here:

Also starting on the National Championship game on Monday, April 7 Roots will roll out its new daily specials. On Mondays all of Roots' 28 canned beers and canned ciders (from the likes of Surly, Founders, Revolution, Vander Mill, Half Acre, Goose Island, etc) will be half price. Every patron ordering a half price canned beer on Mondays will also receive one Roots koozie. $3 Jameson shots round out the Monday specials at Roots.

* $3 chilled liquor tap house shots

* 20% off all large format beer bottles (22oz and 750ml) from the likes of Three Floyds, Une Année, Jolly Pumpkin, Almar Orchards, Goose Island, etc.

Thursdays
* $3 Jack Daniel's shots

Saturdays & Sundays
* $8 Roots Bloody Marys (Finlandia vodka, Roots' housemade Bloody mix, BBQ-spiced housemade mozzarella/salami/pepperoncini skewer.)

* $20 Mimosa Buckets (four Mionetto prosecco splits and a carafe of fresh-squeezed orange juice.)

* $20 Bro-Mosa Buckets (four bottles of Two Brothers Ebel's Weiss beers and a carafe of fresh-squeezed orange juice.)
