Each show shall feature a different line-up of local and regional comic acts, with potential for national reach. The comedy show is poised to be the first and only monthly comedy show in the City of Beaverton, and quite possibly the only monthly show in the Portland area that directly benefits performing arts. ETP's motto is "Innovation, Immersion, & Imagination." Our theater strives to do things no other traditional theater does, from immersive programming to innovative techniques in fundraising and performing arts.

ETP is concluding its kids' summer theater camps and is now looking toward its first immersive theater production, Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile. The show does not take place in a traditional theater space, with rows of reserved seats or a stage, but rather more like a movie set, complete with a full bar, French accented wait staff, and an accordion player in the corner. From the founder and producing artistic director Alisa Stewart:

Imagine yourself in a 1904 Paris bar. You are seated at a cafe? table, handed a menu of French aperitifs from which to choose from, and served coffee, tea, a regional microbrew, or mixed drink while a show takes place all around you. There is no one place to look and no bad spot in the house, only a story that unfolds and draws you in as you take in the immersive atmosphere of the show.

ETP is currently seeking a performing space for its mainstage show, preferably an empty warehouse >2500 sf. Suggestions and donations from the community will help support innovative programming in Beaverton and beyond.

ETP is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation.
