Crafted Kitchen Announces Opening in LA Arts District Summer 2016

Crafted Kitchen announced it will open its first location this summer at 672 S. Santa Fe Avenue in LA's popular Arts District. Owner and founder Cindi Thompson will host private preview tours for media, culinary bloggers, and event planners interested in learning more about LA's new home for culinary entrepreneurs.

"For food entrepreneurs who are hungry for success, the road has many hurdles," said Thompson, a former small food business owner herself, who founded Crafted Kitchen in order to provide others access to quality, affordable commercial kitchens and resources. "We are small food business advocates with a passion for supporting local culinary artisans. Crafted Kitchen is the low-cost, low-risk, full-service culinary flex-space that supports artisans as they create, produce and expand their businesses."

Crafted Kitchen offers access to a wide variety of on-site kitchen spaces, including a shared use kitchen and 4 private kitchens, all with a long list of amenities, business services and regulatory support. Crafted Kitchen also features the Test Kitchen, an event venue for culinary classes, cooking parties, corporate events and pop up dinners, that doubles as a unique filming location. The state-of-the art facility is housed in a fully restored 95-year-old brick warehouse.

Cindi created Crafted Kitchen when she hit a roadblock in growing her own small food business a scarcity of quality, affordable commercial kitchens. Determined to provide fellow culinary entrepreneurs access to the quality space and resources she needed in order to grow and thrive, she founded Crafted Kitchen. Prior to pursuing her passion for the culinary arts, Cindi enjoyed a long career in the financial services industry. She is a lifelong resident of California.
