Celebrated chef, Todd English, never known to miss out on the culinary world's most important gatherings, will once again lend his time and talent to a prestigious foodie happening: The Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival taking place December 13-17.

The festival brings "an eclectic collection of the world's most illustrious, award-winning chefs, culinary personalities, authors, winemakers and mixologists" to the balmy South Florida coast as it has done every winter for the last 7 years. English, along with Chef David Burke and acclaimed pastry chef Joanne Chang, will join his former protege Chef Clay Conley at Buccan for the "Last Supper," where the band of kitchen stars will treat guests to a reception and multi-course, wine-paired dinner on Monday night. This will be the festival's final evening event before the Grand Tasting.

"I am more than excited about getting together with such a stellar group of chefs," says English. "It's really wonderful to be reunited with Clay and to see someone I once mentored becoming such a success in his own right. Clay is an amazingly talented chef and he has come such a long way in so little time. The Palm Beach Food & Wine is a fantastic charitable organization and one of the best food festivals out there and anyway I can participate is always a pleasure."

Through Chefs Dish Back, net proceeds will be donated in the name of each of the participating celebrity chefs to this year's five following charities, each advocating and working in support of a different, critical mission: American Red Cross, Palm Beaches - Treasure Coast Region, Feeding South Florida, James Beard Foundation, Share Our Strength, and Alex's Lemonade Stand. Through its partnership with the James Beard Foundation, the festival is funding a scholarship for a local student recipient, to be chosen by the JBF committee. The festival is also working with the Palm Beach County Food Bank to rescue food from the events, and is featuring a donation cart for funds to be donated directly to the Food Bank.

Tickets and event details for the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival 2013 are available at http://www.pbfoodwinefest.com or by calling (855) 428-7849.
