Michael Kornick - award-winning Chicago chef and restaurateur - introduces Olives from Spain during Chicago Gourmet on Saturday, September 28, at Millennium Park.

Olives from Spain offered the crowd of more than 10,000 a taste of Spanish olives in the form of two specially created recipes: a manzanilla olive marinade dressed in lemon peel and honey, and a black olive marinade dressed in Sherry Vinegar and garlic.

Spain ranks as the number one cultivator and exporter of table olives in the world. Olives from Spain promotes the flavor, versatility and nutritional value of the Spanish table olive. With only 35 calories in a serving size of seven olives, Olives from Spain are the perfect complement to any meal and a staple of the Mediterranean diet.
