Caesars Entertainment to Host Inaugural Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open

LAS VEGAS (May 26, 2017)- Caesars Entertainment and Sidekick Productions LLC, in partnership with Major League Gaming, Xbox and The Coalition, are pleased to announce the inaugural Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open, taking place Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4. For the first time, Caesars Entertainment Studios, located behind Bally's Las Vegas, will set the stage for the city's most intense Xbox esports competition.
"Caesars Entertainment has always supported innovation and world-class entertainment," said recently named Executive Vice President of Gaming and Interactive Entertainment, ChristIan Stuart. "Hosting esport events like the Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open is the kind of emerging interactive gaming we have been and will continue offering to those customers looking to test their skills along the way."
Teams from around the world will compete head-to-head in Gears of War 4, the latest interactive video game developed by the Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, for a prize pool of $300,000.
The event is open to the public, so fans from 18 year-of-age (with signed parental consent form) and over can check out the competition with the purchase of the three-day Spectator Pass for $24.99 plus taxes and fees. All Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open players and spectators will be awarded a unique in game emblem with the purchase of either a team pass or spectator pass. The Las Vegas Open is the last and one of the most anticipated stops for season one of the Gears Pro Circuit, following events in Columbus, Mexico City, London, Atlantic City and Paris.
