Broadwayworld.com discovered a gem of a restaurant that will please guests who enjoy both traditional and contemporary Asian cuisine, Mr. Chung's in Morristown, New Jersey. Conveniently located on Speedwell Avenue, this elegant, but casual dining spot is very near to the town's center and has plenty of parking options nearby. We enjoyed a meal that was totally delightful.

The décor of the restaurant blends a modern aesthetic with traditional touches. The open space design provides tables for intimate dining and there are comfortable semi-circular booths. Areas of the restaurant can also accommodate large groups.

Executive Chef Sean Chung and his son, Front House Manager, Dan Chung have collaborated on a menu that presents wonderful choices to please their guests. For an appetizer, enjoy one of their delicious salads. Their Seafood Salad combines the freshest, tastiest delights. Crispy Duck Spring Rolls and their Asian Dumplings are also excellent starters.

We like the fact that Mr. Chung's has creative cuisine that you won't find anywhere else like their Creamy Edamame Soup with smoked scallions and miso or their Chinese Bruschetta served on a scallion pancake. Some of their distinctive main courses include the Sangria Crispy Duck, Chung's Whole Lobster, Cheng Du Style and their Honey Walnut Prawns.

Mr. Chung's also offers an extraordinary selection of our favorites. We enjoyed one of their signature entrées, the Penang Curry Chicken, tender and flavorful. And the Vegetarian Specialties are inspired with a mix of seasonal vegetables and organic black tofu served with a variety of sauces that include Kung Pao and Tempura. All of the dishes we sampled were perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented with a real flair.

Be sure to top off your meal with one of Mr. Chung's original desserts and tea. You can also bring your favorite beer or wine to the restaurant to enjoy with their gourmet cuisine. Plan a date or gather your group. This exceptional restaurant is worth the trip from anywhere in the metropolitan area.
