Tony Roma's is giving taxpayers a sweet reason to look forward to Tax Day even if they're not getting a return from the IRS. On April 15th, the traditional U.S. Tax Day, participating Tony Roma's restaurants will be offering guests a chance to treat themselves with a free signature Red Velvet Cake dessert. So while many hard-working Americans may be dreading writing that check to Uncle Sam this week, Tony Roma's is striking back and sweetening their day by giving them their "just desserts".

There are two ways that fans can take advantage of this sweet deal and join the Tony Roma's Tax Day movement. First, members of the Tony Roma's Email Club will receive a coupon for a free Red Velvet Cake dessert sent to their inbox the night of April 14th. Second, dine-in guests who visit Tony Roma's on April 15th will receive a coupon for a Red Velvet Cake dessert valid for their next visit. Tony Roma's Red Velvet Cake, a signature dessert and fan favorite, is made with cocoa and buttermilk, then topped with a rich cream cheese frosting. It's the perfect accompaniment to Tony Roma's world-famous Baby Back Ribs and signature Romarita or new Romatini.

"For those who wait until the last minute to pay their taxes, Tax Day can be incredibly stressful, especially if you're writing a big check to the IRS," said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma's. "We want to make Tax Day less taxing by striking back and giving our fans their 'just desserts' with a free Red Velvet Cake! What better way to sweeten the day than with this classic, signature Tony Roma's dessert."
